Resident since 1972, but now the house belongs to our daughter, Missy and son-in-law, Bob. Oracle Road was 2 lanes with no traffic lights until Orange Grove. Our children walked to Harelson, across Oracle or through the drainage tunnel. There was only 1 grocery store at the corner of Oracle and Ina, Casas Adobes Drugstore had a soda fountain where you could sit next to Lee Marvin while sipping coffee, and Bullard's was the store where you could find everything you needed...one nut and bolt, beautiful linens, and wonderful windchimes. Much has changed around us...but this is still the best place to live!

  • This is such a great picture of what used to be. You're lucky to have had that experience... I'm just lucky to live here now. So nice your home is now filled with the new memories of your daughter!
